The House
Kingley Vale House is a Grade II listed country house that’s been renovated to the highest standard and designed for modern living. The original part of the house boasts an open fireplace and low ceilings to make it feel warm and cosy. The large kitchen is a great space for entertaining with high vaulted ceilings and a fully equipped kitchen. Although many guests are ready for a digital detox, you will find plenty of modern technology in the house should you wish to use it, including superfast Wi-Fi, smart lighting, and smart TVs. Set in its own grounds, bordering a country lane, there are no neighbours to worry about if the kids get too loud or the party continues late in to the night.

The Kitchen
The kitchen is at the heart of the house, with a spacious island. It is fully equipped with an AGA oven and includes a dishwasher, microwave, blender, waffle maker, coffee machine and sandwich maker. The kitchen opens up in to a lounge area with a corner sofa, complete with a 48 inch TV. This room provides the perfect space for spending time with family and friends.
Living and Dining
The living room is thoughtfully furnished, with comfortable sofas and armchairs. It features a wood burning fireplace, perfect for cosy evenings in. The dining room houses a large wooden table that can seat up to eight people comfortably, or ten at a squeeze. The room is tastefully decorated and is the perfect place for dinner parties. The library and workspace area has a two person desk and a large sofa for some quiet reading time. Please feel free to peruse any of the books that catch your eye.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The house boasts four bedrooms, each uniquely decorated and designed for comfort and relaxation. The first bedroom features a king-size bed, complete with a newly renovated en-suite bathroom.
The second bedroom is also a king-size bedroom, with a comfortable bed and tasteful décor. Both rooms have plenty of storage space. The two remaining bedrooms, both with double beds, have ample closet space. These bedrooms share two spacious bathrooms, one with an over-bath shower and the other with a bathtub and separate shower.
House Rules
We ask you to respect our house rules so that other vistors can enjoy their time at Kingley Vale House. Our rules are as follows:
- No smoking or vaping in the house
- Registered guests only
- Well behaved dogs downstairs or in the Kinglet only (an extra cleaning charge will be added)
- No commercial filming or photography
- Check in from 3pm and check out by 11am
- No children in the hot tub unsupervised
- Whole home Wi-Fi with 80mb Internet
